When Martin & Frost appointed Panache to design their relocated store on the Fort Kinnaird Retail site on the outskirts of Edinburgh. The brief was to create an iconic retail experience without loosing M & F’s traditional customer.

The store design needed to present the traditional product along side both the contemporary and modern offerings. Intense attention to detail was adopted throughout the design process to achieve the final image and ambience.

Departments were again zoned and separated into a logical arrangement of movement and transition into each section, heightening the customer experience.

Illumination and graphics were used on the Entrance Features placed on the perimeter of each product department, focusing the customer’s expectations within each area.

Lifestyle graphics, and both floor and wall colour emphasized the areas highlighting the products and the zoning philosophy.
